Lucart joins the Circular Economy 100 network

Our commitment to the circular economy is becoming increasingly consolidated. We have joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation CE100 network, a pre-competitive innovation program designed to allow organisations to develop new opportunities and achieve their circular economy goals as quickly as possible.

Established in 2010, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation aims to accelerate the transition to the circular economy. Since its inception, the Foundation has distinguished itself as a global thought leader, placing the issues of the circular economy on the agenda of governments and academia.

Lucart for which sustainability and innovation in the environmental field is a mission, is one of only three Italian companies to be part of the foundation. The other two are Intesa Sanpaolo and Gruppo Hera. This is how the Circular Economy 100 (CE100) network of the foundation grows, bringing together companies that have distinguished themselves internationally for their commitment to the development of the circular economy to create further opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

"Quality, innovation and sustainability. These are the key concepts on which we are building the future of tissue paper and that of our Group. This is why joining the Network created by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation makes us proud of the work we have done so far. It is a demonstration of all our commitment to a 'circular economy of paper', as we like to call it", commented Massimo Pasquini CEO of Lucart. "We are sure that this collaboration will open new and challenging scenarios for the development of the circular economy at an international level, embracing different sectors and projects. It is a development that we want to lead".
