Board and Management
We are the creators and coordinators of a virtuous project that over the years has taken care of the environment and people more and more. Stand publicly behind our principles is our pride.
We believe in the value of people and the strength of the team. We are the fusion of different stories. Together we share the same goal of improving everyone’s life of all while preserving the planet and our future.
Board of Directors
I am a member of the Board of Directors of Assocarta and a member of the General Council of Confindustria Toscana Nord.
"As individuals and as a company, we actively work for the creation of a better tomorrow."
I took over the general management of the Group's activities in France in 2008 while earning an Executive MBA. I was named general manager of business in Spain following the acquisition at the beginning of 2018.
I have also been a member of the Board of Directors of Lucart S.p.A. since 2014.
"What I particularly appreciate about my work is the fact that I regularly see that the same values that have characterised the history of our Group are a distinguishing and successful element in other countries as well."
Until 1997 I worked on the project for the launch of the Group's Consumer business in a team with the Sales Director.
From 1998 to 2010 I held the position of Marketing Director of the Group and, from the end of 2010 I became Director of Strategic Planning and Control, also dealing with M&A projects since mid-2015.
"Over the years and in my various positions, I have always sought to make my contribution to the development of the Lucart Group, oriented on the one hand towards enhancing competence, fairness and professionalism and, on the other, towards achieving the best possible economic and environmental sustainability of our business."
After graduating from Boston University and Bocconi, I worked for Pirelli in both the Finance and Industrial areas where, for the last 5 years, I was CEO of the Motorcycle Tyres Business Unit.
I later opened my own business and operating as CEO and Founding Partner of Caravans International and Auto Trail. The company was sold to Trigano, of which I am still a member of the Supervisory Board.
The challenge I wanted to take up in Lucart is to accompany the company in the internationalisation process.
"I share the values of respect for the environment and the circular economy and I am proud to be part of a company that has a strong ethical spirit while respecting the interests of all stakeholders."
After graduating in Economics and Commerce in Florence, today I work as a chartered accountant and auditor, as well as being a partner in an international auditing firm.
In my professional experience, I have also been CFO of a medium-sized company listed on the MTA of the Italian stock market and consultant on consolidated financial statements and company audits.
"One of the reasons for joining Lucart was to bring my expertise in administrative and financial matters to the company to increase the level of reliability of the related information."
I joined Fiat Auto as responsible for the control of one of the foreign commercial areas and the planning and control activities of the Fiat Auto JV in Russia in 1997. Subsequently, I worked as FP&A Manager of Sun Microsystems Italia at a time of strong growth for the group.
I started my career as Chief Financial Officer in the Mantero Seta Group in 2002 and then continued it in the Itema Group and the Zobele Group.
I have been Chief Financial Officer of the Lucart Group since 2012.
"One of my main objectives is to pursue innovation as an active contribution of my function and create value for stakeholders while respecting reliability, integrity and transparency."
Since 2018 I have worked as Chief Information Officer at Lucart, where I coordinate the Group's information services.
In my job, I am committed to making the Company aware of innovation issues and select the most significant projects for the business from a potentially limitless offer.
"Being a reliable expert, a loyal leader who helps the growth of the people in the team and a valuable resource for my company. These are the priorities of my work."
Over the years, I have been able to see the growing level of attention and knowledge of these issues on the market. The market requires and appreciates quality and respect for the environment of the product and the supply chain, the ability to be innovative, challenging and resilient and to be able to create and maintain good relationships.
"I believe that teamwork allows us to strengthen our potential on a daily basis to achieve a shared goal. Whatever we do on our own, it never has the same value as what we can do as a team."
I joined Lucart in 2005 as Head of Logistics and Planning of the Group, following its international growth and development during these years.
"The goal I set myself every day is to seek the best possible use of resources and to constantly develop solutions for sustainable mobility with a low environmental impact."
I started my career in the company as Industrial Director Italy and then in 2017, I became Chief Operations Officer of the Group, a position thanks to which I had the opportunity to accompany the growth of the company's plants.
"What makes me proud of my work is that in Lucart we strongly identify with the company values of competence, responsibility and commitment in everything we do and we strive to transmit these values with enthusiasm and passion to all the people who work with us."
From 1994 to 2000 I worked as Head of Converting Production at the Diecimo plant, also collaborating in the development of programming logic and industrial accounting.
From 2000 to 2007 I held the position of Director of the Diecimo Plant.
In 2008 I was appointed as Industrial Director Italy and in 2011 I was tasked to manage the development of the Group's Paper Mill and Converting plants as Engineering Director - a position that I still hold today - also taking care of the KPI process performance, energy and industrial waste areas.
"Solid performance normally comes from teams in which participants have a good commitment, humility, commitment and willingness to change. When talent is integrated into the team, excellence is achieved."
I started my career in the production sector following the transformation processes of raw materials and the technological part of the plants, before moving on to the Raw Materials Purchasing department and, in 2010, taking on the role of Group Purchasing Director.
I attended an Executive Course in Strategic Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at the MIP (Politecnico di Milano) the same year.
"My mission is to build medium-long term relationships with stakeholders based on mutual respect and trust."
Carlo Maria Romeo
I joined Lucart in 2014, as HR Manager Operations for Italy. Since January 2018 I have worked as HR Manager Italy, with responsibility for the personnel of all Lucart S.p.A. functions.
I have been Human Resources Director of the Lucart Group since June 2019.
"In our daily operations, it is people who make the difference. Mutual respect, fairness and integrity in relationships are the basis but also the driving force for business growth and sustainability."
Today I am the Group Sales and Marketing Director in charge of coordinating the three Divisions (Away from Home, Consumer, Business to Business).
"Working in Lucart makes me proud first of all as a man and as a father. The important answers that we can give in a concrete way to the issues of sustainability and the transition to a circular economy translates for me into being able to offer our customers innovative products that can contribute in their small way to better preserving the resources of our planet so that our children and future generations can also enjoy them."
