As the result of the commitment of 85 employees, our plant in Avigliano, in the province of Potenza, reached the remarkable record of 5 and a half years without accidents at work. The plant is an Italian excellence, particularly for Southern Italy, and is dedicated to the production of high-quality and high-performance airlaid paper hygiene products, such as the very well-known Tutto brand.

"Achieving this goal was possible thanks to great teamwork", said Saverio Sarubbo Director of the Lucart plant in Avigliano. "Sharing the 'value of safety' with all workers, as well as external suppliers, has certainly laid the foundation for this success. We have carried on a continuous and constant dialogue between top management and employees, which has helped to eliminate risk conditions and spread a real culture of safety".

Continual staff training, a structured system of reporting potential danger warnings, plant compliance, investments in the most modern machinery safety devices and the commitment of management and the 85 Lucart workers are the key elements that allowed the Avigliano plant to set a new record, surpassing the previous record of 1000 accident-free days achieved in 2016.

We are proud to be celebrating a new positive record for our Group and a historic milestone", commented Massimo PasquiniCEO of Lucart. "The solutions adopted by Avigliano will be a reference standard for all the Italian production sites of our Group, hoping to soon celebrate a new zero-injury goal".

The Avigliano plant, like all the other Italian plants of the Group, is certified according to the OHSAS 18001 standard, which guarantees the health and safety management system for workers.
