Lucart with Save the Children for the Rewrite the Future project

"Rewrite the Future" is the project launched by Save the Children to provide education, opportunities and hope to children and teenagers during the coronavirus pandemic.

In these difficult times, many families are being forced to live in situations that put them at greater risk of marginalisation and social exclusion. For this reason, Lucart has decided to take the field alongside Save the Children, the organisation that for over 100 years has been fighting to help youngsters and secure them a better future.

Through the Tenderly brand, Lucart has joined the Rewrite the Future campaign to fight educational poverty. Lucart will be donating 22,000 packages of products (Tenderly toilet paper, tissues and kitchen towels) that will be distributed nationwide.

"An inclusive society must give a chance to all children, regardless of the environment in which they are born or grow up. The coronavirus caused a rapid and unexpected impoverishment, hitting the families most in need. Unfortunately, the fight against material poverty is not the only one that many children and their families are facing. The pandemic is jeopardising the right to education of many children and consequently their future. Education is the lifeline for future generations to have opportunities in the present, but above all to build their tomorrow", commented Massimo Pasquini, CEO of Lucart.

This sponsoring project bolsters the partnership between the two organisations that have been working together since January 2020 on the Spazio Mamme project launched to create welcoming meeting places where parents are accompanied in the early stages of their children's lives. Here families can find operators ready to provide the tools they need to help emancipate their family unit. Tenderly supported the project in 2020 in three different Italian cities: Catania, Genoa and San Luca.
