The Lucart supply chain earns BSCi certification
Lucart has taken an important new step forward in its social responsibility process by obtaining a certificate of conformity to the BSCi Code of Conduct. The Business Social Compliance initiative (BSCi) is the international standard promoted by Amfori to improve social conditions along global supply chains.
The recognition confirms the Group's compliance with the main international standards on workers' rights, health and safety, environmental protection and business ethics, in line with the principles of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conventions.
After having signed the Code in July 2025, an independent audit was conducted at the headquarters in Porcari (Lucca) to scrupulously examine the processes and practices implemented by Lucart to secure responsible supply chain management and relations with suppliers, partners and collaborators.
The BSCi certification is part of the Group's sustainability model, which integrates governance, transparency and attention to people as strategic levers for sound and lasting industrial development.
The achievement comes on top of other international awards won by Lucart, including emission reduction target validation from SBTi and the Platinum medal from EcoVadis, which, for the fourth consecutive year, places the Group among the top 1% of companies worldwide in terms of sustainability performance.
