For the fifth consecutive year, Lucart has achieved the EcoVadis Platinum rating, the global platform for assessing corporate sustainability. The Group reaches an overall score of 93/100, up from 89/100 in the previous assessment, placing it in the 99th percentile of companies assessed worldwide.

The assessment analyses four dimensions of corporate sustainability:

Environment – 96/100: this is the highest-scoring area. EcoVadis recognises the strength of policies, measures and certifications aimed at reducing impacts, improving energy efficiency, managing resources and promoting circularity. Among the elements highlighted are the commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with science-based climate targets, and actions on energy and emissions, water, materials and waste.

Labor & Human Rights – 94/100: the assessment takes into account policies and projects for people: health and safety, training, equal opportunities, employee support, and listening and reporting mechanisms.

Sustainable Procurement – 94/100: the result reflects the policies and objectives for integrating environmental and social criteria into purchasing and supplier management. The supply chain is a central element of the Group's journey, which also relies on the AMFORI-BSCI system, an international standard for respect for human rights and working conditions throughout the supply chain.

Ethics – 83/100: Lucart achieves the maximum score in the areas of policies, measures and reporting. The aspects assessed include anti-corruption, information security, data protection, and control and reporting systems.

"The fifth consecutive Platinum recognition is an important confirmation of the continuity of the path Lucart has undertaken," comments Francesco Pasquini, CEO of Lucart. "The improvement in our overall score shows that the work carried out over the years continues to deliver concrete results. At the same time, an assessment like EcoVadis allows us to measure our performance methodically, identify areas for further development and keep working to integrate sustainability ever more deeply into our activities and across our value chain."
